Keith M. Hoffman brings over 20 years of litigation skill to F & M. While specializing in the defense of health care providers, Keith likewise has substantial experience in insurance coverage and first party insurance matters such as sinkhole, collapse, storm and other property damage claims. Before moving to Florida, Keith practiced for several years in Pennsylvania focusing on medical malpractice, products liability and toxic torts cases.
Keith has substantial litigation experience in both trial and arbitration settings. He has tried both long-term care and property loss claims to verdict in additional to numerous arbitrations. He has likewise successfully authored appeals as both an appellee and appellant. He has orally argued before the Second District Court of Appeal. Keith obtained an important appellate reversal compelling arbitration in the long-term care case of Sovereign Healthcare of Tampa v. Estate of Huerta.
Keith is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and Florida as well as the Northern, Middle and Southern Federal District Courts of Florida. He received his B.S. degree in Life Science from the Pennsylvania State University. He thereafter obtained both his Juris Doctorate and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh through its Joint Degree Program.
Keith resides in New Tampa with his wife and two children. He enjoys watching his daughter dance and his son play lacrosse.
